ProWein 2015 - International Trade Fair for Wine and Spirits in Germany

History of ProWein starts since 1994, named as PRO VINS back then. Only 319 participants from 9 countries were at the first Fair, located on 3.000 sq.m. Things have changed after the first Fair, especially its scales. Fair takes place annually since 1997 and lasts for three days. In 2014, space of the fair was 52.000 sq.m. and 4800 representatives from 45 countries participated in it. 49.030 professionals and 1011 Wine journalists visited from about 100 countries. In the course of the Fair, many other events were held, including wine samplings, shows, master classes and workshops.

This year, administration of the Fair promises to arrange more interesting, bigger and attractive Fair.

ProWein is one of the most important forums for the Georgian wine, showing its record number of participants this year.

On March 15-17, 19 Wine and Spirits Companies will participate for the sixteenth time in the fifteenth hall of ProWein and host the visitors, journalists, professionals and wine masters with wine.

Three important wine samplings/master classes are planned at the Vinum stand, hosted by Rudolf Knoll - famous critic and chief editor of the Vinum Magazine and Lisa Granik - Master of Wine, incorporator of the Company Tastingworks, contributor of many magazines and technical director (Sommelier Journal, The Professional Wine Reference, The World of Fine Wine). 

Georgian Wine Association provides Georgian participation in the Fair. The following companies will take part in ProWein:

Georgian stand is placed in the fifteenth pavilion, under K02 number. 

Wine sampling / master class is to be held in the thirteenth pavilion, Vinum Stand, under number D106.
