This Saperavi wine fermented and aged in qvevri was bottled unfiltered. A light morello-cherry red, with a wonderful aroma of red fruit and flowers. Quite an acidic wine, with a long and delicious finish. Full-bodied and strong (around 14%). Would go well with pizza, dishes made from tomatoes, or with dishes ranging from chakhokhbili (meat stew) to chanakhi (meat stewed with vegetables).
