Rkatsiteli, Pheasant's Tears, 2010

This wine was made from Rkatsiteli grapes grown in an organic vineyard in Tibaani. It was decanted into qvevri where it was left to ferment and then age for six months. Amber-coloured with aromas of vegetation and walnuts, young, pleasantly acidic and strong in tannins. This wine could either be drunk immediately or be laid down for later.
