Kisi, Lukasi, 2012

Made according to a classic European method from Kisi grapes grown around the village of Argokhi close to the town of Akhmeta, and later laid down to age in barrels of French oak. A light-straw-yellow wine with golden hues. First aromas reveal notes of roasted hazelnuts and the sweet flavour of ripe white plums. This is a nicely acidic wine with quite a long finish, and would best be enjoyed with smoked salmon.
