Kisi, Pheasant’s Tears, 2011

A light amber-coloured half-bodied wine full of tannins made from Kisi grapes picked in the village of Argokhi near the town of Akhmeta. Mostly the aroma of dried flowers, later followed by those of walnut husk and sweet green peppers. Would go well with cabbage with walnuts or with grilled aubergines, peppers, tomatoes, etc.
