Vazisubani, Badagoni, 2007

This dry white appellation wine was made from Rkatsiteli grapes. Straw-yellow in colour, with aromas of green tea and wildflowers at first. These notes of vegetation slowly give way to spicier ones. This is a hot-tempered wine, and despite the fact that it could by no means be described as being a “new” wine it has a pleasant sting to it as well as a quite long-lasting finish. Serve with fried cheese, chicken salad or caesar salad.
