This traditional qvevri wine was made from Rkatsiteli grapes grown in the famous ‘Akhoebi’ vineyards in the village of Kardenakhi. A handsome wine, it pours thickly and its colour lies somewhere between a flame-red and a tea-brown. This wine must imperatively be left to breathe beforehand in order to fully reveal its aromas of spices and crushed walnuts. A very strong wine with a relatively high alcoholic content (13.5%), pleasantly acidic and with a long finish.
