This Rkatsiteli is the first wine produced by this small wine cellar which appeared on the Georgian market several months ago. Made in qvevri according to the traditional Kakhetian method from Rkatsiteli grapes grown on the left bank of the Alazani River in the Napareuli micro-zone. A very handsome and lustrous amber-coloured wine, veering towards the colour of tea. This wine aged extremely well, and is an excellent example of an aged Kakhetian wine at its peak. First aromas of port wine. A very delicious and full wine with notes of dry leaves and Georgian spices. Would be an excellent accompaniment to beans with walnuts, stewed lamb or stuffed vine leaves.
