This appellation wine is very rarely made nowadays, and Tbilvino is the exception. This new, violet-coloured wine reveals a blend of aromas of berries, oak, bilberry jam, dried spices (e.g. thyme) and ripe red sour plums. Pleasantly acidic, and should be served with dishes such as chakhokhbili (stewed meat), beef cooked in tomato sauce or chanakhi (stewed lamb with vegetables).
