An appellation wine distinguished by its sour-cherry-red colour with hints of cornelian-cherry-red. Its bouquet is initially quite closed, but once this wine has been given the opportunity to breathe, aromas of freshly picked berries such as blackcurrants or bilberries emerge—aromas which become stronger after tasting. The appearance later of strong notes of oak makes this wine even more intriguing. This is quite a strong wine (14%) with a high potential for ageing, and should be decanted before being served.
