Khikhvi, Viniveria, 2011

This wine, made from the rare Khikhvi Kakhetian variety of grape according to the classic European method, is a light straw-yellow in colour with amber hues. It bouquet first reveals sweet notes of sugar-coated nuts, dried peaches and pistachioes. A soft, well-rounded wine which would go well with aubergines with walnuts, stewed chicken, stewed beef with nuts or even with boiled pork.
