This wine was also made in the Ghvaladze family’s traditional wine cellar from Tsolikouri (80%) and Tsitska grapes (20%) grown in the village of Obcha. It began its life in churi (western Georgian qvevri) without the grape marc before being poured into stainless steel vessels. A pleasant appearance, straw colour with flashes of gold, aromas of vegetation and flowers. This is an excellent “gastronomic” wine which could be a universal companion to Imeretian dishes such as cheese pie, leeks with ground walnuts, beef tongue and boiled shoulder, or light salads or mature cheeses.
