Tsolikouri, Teliani Valley, 2011

A very fresh straw-coloured wine with hints of gold. Crisp aromas of white fruits and fruit flowers and a roughness characteristic of new wine are completed by an interesting, long-lasting finish—itself boasting notes of hazelnuts and pumpkin seeds. Pleasantly acidic. Should be served cold as a summer wine with light salads, with fried or boiled white fish or with dry mature cheeses (e.g. goats’ cheeses).
