Chinuri, Iago’s Wine, 2011

This is a good golden yellow wine aged in qvevri for six months in contact with the grape marc and stalks. The bouquet needs a bit of time to “open”. Herbal notes such as sage, juniper and pine needles. This is a new and lively wine which will hopefully mature with time. Lots of character and a long finish. Would go well with fried chicken or fish grilled over embers.
