Tavkveri, Pheasant's Tears, 2010

This traditional qvevri wine was made from Tavkveri grapes from Kartli. A young, light-cornelian-cherry-red wine, quite strong and full-bodied, and which hopefully has a good future ahead of it. Its flavour lingers for a long time. Aromas of mulberries and ripe figs.
