This wine, made from Tavkveri grapes grown in the Mukhrani Valley in Kartli was made in qvevri according to traditional methods. This is a fresh, raspberry-red wine with a delicate violet halo. Its freshness reveals itself in both its smell and flavour. A nice combination of the aromas of blackberries, wild roses and green spices. The bottle should be opened and decanted half an hour beforehand, and it might be even better to let this fresh wine age a little. Serve with lamb bughlama (stew) or fried kidney beans.
