Saperavi (qvevri), Vinoterra, 2009

A bright cherry-red wine distinguished by its effective initial bouquet. This soft, warm and full-flavoured wine with strong notes of rosemary and basil was made in qvevri according to traditional methods. It is very interesting to wonder what this wine would turn into in two or three years’ time. A luxurious wine with many layers which offer something new at every sip. Long finish. Would go well with kaurma (stewed liver) or steak.
