Saperavi, Nika Wines, 2010

Made from Saperavi grapes picked in Anaga Tsarapi, this wine has an intense dark raspberry colour. An exotic wine, like all wines made from Saperavi grapes grown in this vineyard. First, the aroma of pine needles, followed by notes of herbs such as sage and wild mint, which slowly give way to rosemary and sweet spices. A very strong, full-bodied and luxurious wine which should be served with spicy steak or kubdari (Svanetian meat pie).
