Saperavi-Cabernet, Château Mukhrani, 2008

Another well-aged wine which is ready to be drunk. A tiny bit over-ripe, perhaps, according to its aroma, but its flavour combines ripeness and tenderness. This is a ruby-red wine with hints of oak and even more notes of bay-leaves, black pepper and leather. A relatively thin wine, tender, elegant and complete, which would best accompany liver cooked in a sweet sauce, fried beef or even a juicy kebab.
