Mukuzani, GWS Tamada, 2009

A moderately intense cornelian-cherry-red colour with a sour-cherry-red halo. The bouquet of this PDO wine made from Saperavi grapes clearly reveals notes of ripeness and ageing, combining notes of sour cherry jam, bay-leaves and other aromas. When tasting this strong wine full of tannins, the trace of oak becomes more obvious, and this wine would best be served with charcoal-grilled meats.
