This extremely harmonious and balanced wine is made from Saperavi grapes carefully selected from the vineyards located in Mukuzani appellation. Hence, it boasts a distinctive character supported by intense tannins and pleasant flavors of sweet earth, blackberries, black gooseberries, smoke and subtle hints of the minerals. The wine, aged in oak for 20 months, has a long and satisfying finish and a decent aging potential. The juxtaposition of rich and racy elements here would make “Mukuzani” a versatile partner for a wide range of foods including all kinds of beef, pork and lamb dishes, fried kidney, liver and pates.
