GEORGIA – World Congress of Vine and Wine 2010

The Minister of Agriculture of Georgia, Mr. Bakur Kvezereli met the Director General of the OIV, Mr. Federico Castellucci, during his trip to Paris to emphasise the importance for his country of organising the 33rd World Congress of Vine and Wine in Tbilissi en 2010.

Accompanied by His Excellency Mamuka Kudava, the Ambassador of Georgia in France, and in the presence of Mr. Vasil Managadze the President of the « Samtrest »Vine and Wine State Department and his counsellor, Mr. Giorgi Tevzadze, the Minister of Agriculture wished to confirm the role that Georgia, at the highest state level, wished to play in the organisation of this event. The last time this congress took place in the Georgian capital was in 1962.
