Samshvenisi, Teliani Valley, 2010

This wine is a blend of two Kakhetian (Rkatsiteli and Mtsvane kakhuri) and one Kartlian (Chinuri) varieties of grape. This is the first attempt to produce such a coupage in Georgia over the past few years. A straw-coloured, cheerful and very acidic wine with aromas of lemon and early pear and an unpretentious flavour. This wine's main value lies in its particularly long-lasting finish.
