This company always produces distinctive appellation wines—especially from the Kvareli micro-zone. This 2007 vintage has reached its peak. Its age is clearly visible in its colour, and its “roasty” and crispy character can be felt. This is combined with the sharp aroma of barberries and ripe cornelian cherries. A full-bodied wine with powerful tannins, quite strong (14%). It must be allowed to “breathe” beforehand, and would go well with grilled beef or lamb.
