Not to be confused with the usual ‘Kindzmarauli’. This semi-sweet appellation wine was made from Saperavi grapes grown in certified organic vineyards. The Author cannot remember any other semi-sweet wines such as this one. The vineyards from which this wine was made are located in the Gremi micro-zone, which by law is part of the Kindzmarauli zone. This is a new, raspberry-red wine with a joyful appearance and powerful initial aromas dominated by notes of ripe red and black fruit—mostly sweet mulberry tklapi (thick sheets of sun-dried fruit juice) and ripe figs. This wine should always be served chilled.
