Kakhuri, Binekhi, 2009

This relatively deep and pleasantly acidic wine is made from Rkatsiteli grapes grown in Kardenakhi. Fermented and aged in qvevri according to traditional Kakhetian methods. Notes of ripe Japanese medlar, white cherries, figs and apricot jam, with the aroma of French marigold emerging at the end.
