Kakhetian, “Sun of the Qvevri”, 2011

This is a very good, lustrous and handsome amber-coloured wine made from Rkatsiteli and Mtsvane kakhuri grapes grown in the Napareuli micro-zone. Initial aromas very intense and pleasant. Soft and warm flavour. Pleasant “fullness” of tannins in the mouth. Notes of hay, hints of tobacco and sea buckthorn and a slight touch of cream.
