Gunashauri, Saperavi, 2008

Another Saperavi produced by Chelti Wines. The Gunashauri 2009 vintage was already mentioned above; this wine was made from grapes harvested in 2008 whose ripeness manifests itself in the wine’s colour. Distinguished by its pleasant bouquet, in which the aromas of raspberries and sweet black cherries are recognizable. This wine has a soft, tender flavour with a long finish, and would best be served with leg of lamb or skewered lamb.
