Chelti, Saperavi, 2007

One of the most special Saperavi wines I have had the pleasure of trying for several years. This wine was made from Saperavi grapes grown on the left bank of the Alazani River in vineyards planted along one of its tributaries, the Chelti. Very light morello-cherry-red in colour and medium-bodied. Bouquet primarily made up of the aromas of dried plums and blackberry jam. A graceful, deep and serious wine, whose complete taste will remain with you for a long time. Incredible finish.
