Khvanchkara, Teliani Valley, 2011

A very handsome wine—ruby-red and transparent. Fruit aromas characteristic of Khvanchkara in addition to notes of sweet spices. This is a very soft and pleasant wine despite its stinging tannins, and its freshness and acidity would make for an ideal accompaniment to red fruit salads or fruit cakes.
