This is the only strong (18%) wine made from this variety of grape in Georgia. It is distinguished by its pleasing, lustrous amber-coloured appearance. First sensations of sweet and exotic aromas characteristic of Jerez (e.g. Pedro Ximenez), but notes of muscat and flowers are also quite noticeable. Aromas of black pears, walnuts, raisins, dried figs and orange pith. This wine has a strong caramel finish, long and soft, and would be splendid with kakluchi (walnuts dipped in grape juice), nuts in honey, panettone or ice-cream.
