Alaverdi Traditional (white), Badagoni, 2007

This traditional wine made in qvevri in the wine cellar of the Alaverdi Monastery is the standard of Kakhetian traditional wines. This amber-coloured wine has a very pleasant appearance, pours well, and its bouquet immediately charms all those who drink it. Aromas of sea buckthorn at first, followed by notes of apples drying in the sun which linger in the flavour for a long time. A soft, elegant and deep wine.
