Georgian wines received Gold and Silver medals at Mundus Vini 2015, at International Wine Exhibition, Germany.
International Award - Mundus Vini, was established in 2001 and became very popular since its very first steps.
Exhibition is held annually, twice per year, in Spring and Summer, hosting more than 8000 wines from the most important winemaking regions.
Presently, Mundus Vini is one of the most popular and large scale international Wine Exhibition in Germany, aiming to develop wine quality and sales in the world.
Judges of the present competition included 150 high rank expert representing 40 regions of winemaking around the globe (enologists, sommeliers, wine writers, critics).
Mundus Vini is reliable competition among importers and sale experts, thereby the results of the competition are important guide in their field. Thus, participation in the Competition is one of the best platform in terms of promoting wine and increases of sales in general.
Winner wines of Mundus Vini are presented at exclusive, premium zone of ProWein Düsseldorf - one of the major wine festivals of the world. 759 sq.m. zone falls under key interest of wine experts and importers around the world.
Thus, winner wines from Georgia, besides special winemaking brand stands, shall be presented in this Zone. This occasion is additional option for attracting international wine experts and importers on international level.
