This cherry-red wine is a very dark and intense Saperavi—a strong wine approaching maturity. Its bouquet features notes of sweet spices and ripe fruit along with black cherries, cornelian cherries and dried cherries. This is a mature wine which must be decanted beforehand, and would go well with beef fried with spices, steaks or kaurma (stewed liver).
